Medicaid Planning for Financial Planners

Medicaid is complicated! This one-hour session, designed specifically for financial planners, features Dennison Keller discussing key Medicaid planning strategies. Topics include Medicaid eligibility, available exemptions, how to protect Traditional and Roth IRAs, the Medicaid spend down process, and why annuitizing assets can be a costly error. Dennison Keller will also explore how to use trusts for effective preplanning to preserve clients’ assets and avoid spend-down requirements.

This is a lunch-and-learn event to be held in the training room on the 4th floor at the Towers of Kenwood. Attendees should enter through the West Tower elevator in the parking garage.

The Law Practice of Dennison Keller, LLC is now a General CE Sponsor with CFP. This live in-person learning session is approved to offer 1 CE by the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board.
