Guardianships: How to Obtain Them and Why You Should Avoid Them

Dennison Keller, Esq., will lead this closed learning session for professionals who are members of the Hospitals and Extended Care Council (HECC). Dennison will talk about important estate planning documents to have in place – and how, if those are not in place, a guardianship may be warranted. Discussion will include the advantages and disadvantages of a guardianship, who can be a guardian, and when a conservatorship may be necessary.

This course is approved to offer 1 CEU by the National Association of Social Workers – Ohio Chapter and the Kentucky Board of Social Work.
