Active Aging for Brain Health

This presentation is being rescheduled for the fall. A new date will be announced once it is set.

This workshop will emphasize maintaining cognitive vitality throughout life. It involves engaging in activities that stimulate the brain, such as learning a new skill or solving a puzzle, alongside staying physically active. Brain health also includes eating a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and fostering social connections to reduce the risk of cognitive decline and promote overall mental well-being as we age.

Kara Byrnside is the presenter. Kara is a speech-language pathologist who is passionate about aging well and with a good quality of life. She is driven by providing education to those who need to bridge the gap between diagnosis of a neurodegenerative disease and ways to prevent further decline and to keep living a full and joy-filled life.

This is a free learning session provided by Right at Home.
