We will lead a closed learning session for the University Hospital Case Management Team.

This course is designed to give healthcare professionals a clear and working knowledge of Medicaid for elders. We will cover key powers to be included in a financial power of attorney, asset requirements for eligibility, and the allowable exemption options for single individuals and couples. We will also discuss how a snapshot date is determined, explain how the Medicaid spend-down works, share what a five year lookback period is all about, and much more.
